Educational Initiatives
We have considerable experience developing and delivering training courses aimed at enhancing healthcare
professionals practical communication skills.
These enable effective:- delivery of bad news, discussions about treatment options, and consideration of the
impact of cancer treatments on quality of life.
We cultivate a multi-disciplinary approach to communication with cancer patients, leading to better outcomes and
decision making for patients.
We also supply materials designed to improve healthcare professionals communication with all those affected by cancer.
Information resources
We are skilled in the development of information resources, such as DVDs to assist patients' and the general public's
awareness and understanding about cancer and its treatment, including clinical trials. We also contribute to information
leaflets in collaboration with other charities such as Macmillan, Breast Cancer Care, Leukaemia Care, Independent Cancer
Patients' Voices
